the zorki 4

this amazing piece of russian gold was manufactured at the krasnogorsk mechanical plant between 1956 – 1973. it is testament to its design and usability that the camera was in production for 17 years. check out what it can do here.














like so many of its Fed and Zorki ancestors, it was originally inspired by the Leica... which is a beautiful piece of constructed genius:












although this Leica X1 is well over an amateur photographer's price range, it's worth dreaming about. the Zorki's start at a moderately fair exchange. what's up christmas.
